We are thrilled to announce that we recently installed state-of-the-art AcuTread® equipment at our Lebanon, Tennessee plant! We relocated our precure chambers to make room for a new monorail system and eight new AcuTread presses. Now, customers across Tennessee and beyond have access to the superior AcuTread® process and product.
“Several of our customers were already buying AcuTread products because they saw the value of the premium AcuTread mold cure,” said Rob Majewski, AcuTread’s technical director, in an MTD article. “Those AcuTreads were being produced at our Newport, Ky., plant, and turnaround time was becoming less than ideal.”
Now that there’s an AcuTread plant in Lebanon, TN, just 30 miles from Nashville, turnaround times are better than ever.
”In 1998, we made our first AcuTread tire at our plant in Moline, MI. Twenty-six years later, we have installed AcuTread in our Lebanon, TN plant and made our first AcuTread there. We are excited to be able to offer AcuTread tire products in this new and expansive market. We now own and operate three AcuTread manufacturing facilities, the third being in Newport, KY,” said Jon Langerak, CEO of Wonderland Tire.
AcuTread has served Wonderland Tire well over the years. We truly wouldn’t be the company we are today without it! “It’s an exclusive product that we manufacture ourselves and has proven to be a quality product. It offers many new-tire features, such as matched tire diameters, splice-free, full-depth siping, and excellent mileage and reliability,” said Jason Cleveland, Wonderland Tire’s vice president of retreading operations, in an MTD article.

On April 8 we celebrated 26 years of the AcuTread® process at Wonderland Tire! In our first year of AcuTread production, we were proud to manufacture 8,000 remanufactured tires—since then, we’ve manufactured 100 times that amount across all of our locations!
